Anyone used American Wood Fiber pellets?

I went to get some Somerset 100% hardwood pellets to try in my smoker..this brand is supposed to be safe for cooking with...but they substitued American Wood Fibers Pellet Fuel which is supposed to be 100% hardwood also.

Anyone tried this brand yet?

Nope, Do they have to be pellets?, I use "Pucks" I get from Grossepellets, all natural wood chips compressed into pucks, they really work good and leave hardly and debris.

thank you Bobby..I know those are good, just trying to keep costs down as well... 40lbs of these are $5

We bought cheaper pellets once and we ran into an issue with the ash clogging up the firepit on cooks more than 3-4 hours.
