• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Rob, I'm also interested if you are putting something together.

How far north east? maybe a little more north than east, since I'm in Canada and would love to attend something like this

Would potentially be interested but work schedule for the next two months has some travel involved but I don't have all the confirmed dates yet.

In addition, $$ and knowing who the potential instructor would be other considerations...

NE cooking class?

We would also need to know who and how much $ before committing

Rob,

We are definetly in just tell us when, where and when you need the cash. Good job buddy.

NEBS is having a cooking class in October. I might even volunteer to do a brisket demo. You gonna fly in Jorge ?

The New England Barbecue Society is happy to present a barbecue cooking class on October 14, 2006 at the Rod and Gun Club, in Maynard, MA.
Students will learn how to smoke beef brisket and pulled pork, as well as how to cook ribs, chicken, seafood and more, on any type of cooker.
Competition barbecue will be discussed, as will the pros and cons of all of the different types of grills and smokers on the market today, to help you decide which is best for you.
Also, you will learn to prepare and cook this November’s Thanksgiving Turkey, as both grilled and smoked turkey will be demonstrated and served.
The cost of the class, which includes dinner, will be $35.00 for NEBS members and $70.00 for non-members, which includes a 1-year membership.
For more info, contact Andy King at [email protected].

I'd been considering showing up at the Royal with some Cabo Wabo, but this option might work as well.

Steve, I think you and Doug should do a Brethren class! Who is doing the NEBS class btw...the usual cast of characters? If so, we are in this time

I would definitely be interested.

As someone just starting out, I would be happy with any sort of informal lessons as well. It doesn't have to be 'KCBS' sanctioned or anything (for me).

Let me know how much, where and when.

Thanks,

Eric

I'm interested too, just let me know when and how much, also let me know if there is anything I can do to help organize.

Rob are you going to tell us why you asked or is this a general info Poll?
