• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I will be in the Grand lake of the Cherokee area in a couple week and would like to get a truck load of pecan or other wood while im there, or in the vicinity. Hard to get wood here in the Billings, MT area. prefer seasoned logs, split or unsplit anything for a large mobile pit. I will probally be coming across colorado from Denver to about mid Kansas and either to Tulsa or through Ponca City to the grove area.

Spanky, the wood guy in Franktown, CO (South of Parker) gets his Pecan Wood by the 18 wheeler semi-load from southern Kansas.....$480 a cord + delivery two years ago, no telling what his price is now due to gas prices. Two arm loads of Pecan cost me $20 back then. I have two sticks left. Use it only for flavor due to cost of hardwood here.

I'm sure if you can get in the Springfield-Branson MO area you can pick up some hickory or pecan, maybe even some type of fruit wood.
I found this guy on the I-net in Texas that sells pecan by the truckload, but don't know how far out of the way it would be from your original drive.
