• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I bought some plain 22 gauge sheet metal steel to make a baffle for a friend. I have some leftover metal that I can make one more baffle with. Does anyone need one? Just PM me or email me at [email protected] and I can probably hook you up.

This is my last week here at my current job, and since I lack motivation to do any real work, I am willing to make baffles for anyone in need. (These are the ones for the Bandera.)

I have access to a band saw so I can easily make some decent looking baffles. I can swing by and pick up some additional material and make some of these for anyone who needs one. Just PM or email me and I can hook you up.

I'm not looking to make alot of money on these. How about $20 INCLUDING shipping, materials and labor/time.

Jalapeno, sounds like a heckuva deal. Thanks!

Knowing my mechanical skills, if i tried to make one i'd spend more than $20 in band-aids & a tetanus shot.

PM sent.

Hey Jalapeno, My cookie sheet baffle done burned up. Hook me up. I'll PM youl.

Jalapeno,

If you can send me one with the price in your PM, let me know. I need something, my HD foil baffel might last or a couple more cooks.

OK GUYS,

I have finished making the baffles for the guys that have already PM'd me. I also have enough material to make 2 additional baffles if anyone wants one.

I would like to know by Friday if anyone else wants one, so that I can make them with the equipment at my work. And since Friday is my last day at this job, the next week will not be as easy to make them. Just lettin ya'll know.

As long as you have the material and access to the equiptment you might as well make them now. I'm sure someone will eventually want a ready made baffle.

Does any one know the hole locations should be on the baffel, that way the baffel will just attach. I do not have that much access to drills that will go through metal.

I have a BSKD not sure if the hole set up will be the same can some one please post some info that will be great.

I am sending out the baffles TOMORROW for the guys that have already sent me the checks. Sorry about the delay in getting them out. Let me know if you have any issues.

My baffle does not have a single hole in it. Craig in NM, (missing farker!) simplified the design.

There is no need for the side flange holes, so he got rid of them.

Baffle is secured by the middle bolt on top of the vent only. I notched it with a "V" so that the bolt sits at the bottom of the "V" notch, and the wide bolts hold the sides of the "V", if that makes sense.

No need to secure it in 3 places. That's overkill

Got home from hunting today (which sucked but still beats working) and had received my baffle from Jalapeno. Too tired from unloading and putting away all my stuff to play with the smoker right now. Can you say shower & cerveza time?

Looks great and has excellent instructions (photos and all). Very professional.

Muchas gracias, Chris!

Hey Jalapeno,

Just was wondering if you got my check? or if you have sent mine yet?

Thanks

Got home from work today and I was baffled.
Booooooooooooooooooo,Hisssssssssssssssssssssss. Bad pun.
Thanks Chris. Looks good. Won't get time to put it in until the weekend.

I got mine today also.

Thanks Chris, seems to be some heavy stuff, great instructions, should have mine in this weekend also with some luck.

Hope ya'll like them. If you really want to thank me, you can send me some meat from your first cook with it. Like I said, hope it all works out well for you.

I have gotten some more requests, unfortunately, I won't be able to help all of you. First come, first serve. (Looks like there is a guy on this post that can help you out.) I'll post here if I can make some more in the future.
