Knows what a fatty is.
I suppose this post doesn't involve Q'in much, unless you serve the following with a fatty. Not a bad idea considering I often have sausage with pancakes or waffles.......
Any of you folks up north ever hear of putting peanut butter on your pancakes? It is one of the best things in the world. Tastes wonderful with waffles too. Some would say even better. I bet at least one person will read this and gag. Trust me. It is one of the best things the south ever invented.
Here are a three tips if you want to try it:
1) Add it to your pancakes after the first flip so it can melt a little and spread easier.
2) Also use a little bit of butter.
3) Buy a big jar of peanut butter - you're going to start eating a lot more of it.
Also, if you haven't tried the all natural peanut butter, give it a try. Two ingredients: Peanuts, salt. Sure it looks really oily but it's actually much healthier than the stuff with palm oil. Stir it up and spread it out. Also, contrary to the instructions, I think natural peanut butter is better if you don't put it in the fridge. It doesn't separate that much and won't spoil.
Anywho, I know a lot of people cook waffles on the weekend. Try it with peanut butter. I bet you'll be glad you did. Enjoy.
