I was referred here by sledneck as he noticed on the bbqbible message board that he and I live rather close to each other, and he told me that there are some other Long Islanders here.. I'm pretty new to this BBQ thing having bought my first charcoal grill in August. Before that it was all burgers and hot dogs on the gasser. I'm very much enjoying my new hobby and I'm getting some nice feedback from friends and family who sample the goods.
Here are some shots of something I did today on my Weber kettle. It was for a birthday party. I made a vinager sauce to go along with it.

Apart from BBQ, I play a lot of poker, I'm trying to learn guitar, I run, listen to lots of music, see live music as often as possible), I work many hours a week at my job which is being a Psychologist and I raise my two kids ages 3 and 5 (along with my wife) I've got a full plate, but it's all good.
I'm glad to have found this place.
