• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

After seeing all you farkers smoking up your meatloaves I had to try one myself. Have never smoked one before...actually, don't think I've ever even baked one myself. Probably have only had it a couple times since I was a young whippersnapper.

It's a pork and beef mixture that was on sale, ingredients are milk, oatmeal, onion, apple, bbq sauce, ketchup, couple eggs, hot sauce, some garlic powder, and probably some other stuff I forgot.

Into the drum....With a cabbage and onion keeping it company. Almost dropped the thing getting it out to the drum. I had it cradled in the HD foil and just hanging on to the two sides of the foil, and of course it ripped and had to make a quick catch, lol.

I'm excited. These are all firsts so dinner should be interesting! Will update with results. Beer time!!

Meatloaf was tasty, but couldn't taste the apple, even though I used a whole one. It never really set up. I think it was a bit too wet and I ran out of panko crumbs so just went with it. The cabbage wasn't cooked through after 3 hrs, but didn't mind it el dente. The sheets may be floating tonite. Will use whats left in soup.

Meatloaf looks great! Never thought of putting apple in one. Jalapeños maybe, but not apples. The two garnishes look pretty, but really aren't for consumption.

Now, the important question. Did you get the sourdough and cheddar to make sandwiches tomorrow?

That looks mighty tasty from here! We love smoked meatloaf!
