Another CL Score

I picked up this 22.5 Lime Green Bar-B-Kettle for $15.00, last week. There is no date stamp so its pre 79. One leg had come loose, so I bolted that down, theirs some rust spots but all in all in great shape. It even changes color when it gets hot.... too cool.

Here's pics of my brother in-laws two Bar-B Kettles (Yellow & Copper)along with mine.... I think they make a great group. He says both of his are Late 60's or very early 70's couldn't remember....

Is it wrong to lust after a man's grill........ I SO WANT THE YELLOW ONE :!:

He caught me sneaking it in my truck when I headed home yesterday :icon_blush: :heh::heh::heh:

They made them only a year or two.... and quite rare.....

I noticed on yours that the legs are in the wrong holes. The one leg without a wheel should be under a handle.

I'm surprised by the color. What color does it turn when it gets hot?

I know I have to change that around....

The cool thing with the color it turns red I did some ABT's and got a light glow.... high temp the color will stand out for sure

On the Yellow grill when you cook with that where its hot it turns orange.... too cool.... I was really happy to see mine change a little but the yellow really changes color.... :becky:

I saw that one on CL ! Thought about it, but got enough grills/smokers around (wife is getting a little maxed out on the idea).
