Just heard on the radio that the American Royal BBQ will be pushed back a few weeks and moved to the Kansas Speedway. "Scheduling conflicts" with Royals and Chiefs...

Those date conflict with another double, Smoke-N-Thunder BBQ Classic in GA. Lets see, the dark side (modified) vs airshow with the USAF T-Birds, and a chance to skydive????????? decisions, decisions.......

There are a couple big! Parking lots on the right side of your picture? Maybe that's an option. Hopefully it won't be in the grass parking lots they use for the races.

Im from KC originally and i can tell you the racetrack is huge and can hold twice as many teams than can enter. Also there are hotels within walking distance from the track. Some decent restaurants 2 minutes away, bars and a casino. I bet y'all will like that venue better than royals stadium.

You're forgetting the most important part, there is a Cabela's there also..... Not as big as the main store, but still its a Cabela's........
