• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Alternative to CyberQ

Flame boss is another , don't have one but is supposedly easier to set up.

Also Heatermeter

Got a flame boss 200 about a month ago. Was very easy to set up. I have used it 5 or 6 times and it has work flawless. A little pricey but I would highly recommend it.

I can also vouch for the Flame Boss 200. Got one a couple of months ago and am wondering now why it took me so long.

What size fan does the Flame Boss have? I found somewhere that said 6.5 cfm which seems small. I've got a Humphrey's DEB in transit that I'd like a controller for and the FB may be the ticket. I want to be sure it can supply enough airflow before pulling the trigger.

Icbricker, the real question is how do you want to do that? Do you want to go out to the pit and change the temperature? Do you want to go to the window, look out at your pit and adjust the temp from your phone, tablet, or laptop? Or, do you want to throw a brisky on before going to work, and manage your pit temp from your desk across town?

Figure that out and then someone can help you figure out which product is best!

Help regulate pit temperature and keep meat temps.

What Cat said, and also what cooker(s), one for each, move from cooker to cooker, run multiple cookers from one device?

I wanted a system that would:

1) send a message to my phone when temp drops. Even when I am outside of blue tooth or wifi range of the cooker.

2) control a servo to adjust an air intake and not just offer fan control.

3) easy to move between an offset smoker and a Kamado.

That list lead me to the Heater Meter.
