I'm brining a 16 pounder using: kosher salt, apple cider, fresh oranges (5), crushed garlic, and a bit of soy sauce. Gonna inject with Tony Chachere's cajun butter tomorrow, rub it with SPPOG, and cook it in the Charbroil Big Easy Oil-less turkey fryer.
Also doing a turkey breast in my mini with some peach wood chips. Marinating that one in mojo criollo with a few oranges and some crushed garlic. Gonna inject that one with a different brand of cajun butter and rub it with Tony Chachere's seasoning.
