• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I posted this question in the "Whats cooking thread", figure it will get more hits here. I have searched the forums on sirloin tip roast and most I am finding are in the 8-12lb range. I picked up one on sale yesterday but its a 4lb. I have seen several different ways of cooking the bigger ones, will the same apply to a smaller one like I have? I am thinking maybe taking the kettle to about 250 degrees and cook till about 155 for medium well with a rest. Sound about rite?
Thanks in advance.

i think if u take it to 155 and rest it will be ruined. I'd suggest 140 max then rest. you can always nuke slices in microwave for those that wanna 'em more done.
