I've often wondered the same thing!

When I went to 'Smoque' and saw that I had more wood for my lowly smoker than they did I was worried. When I tasted the food I understood that the good people of Chicago (with the exception of a few) have been lied to as to what BBQ really is!

I've never eaten at Adam's (I understand it was started here, and that explains your review) but always hoped it would be better.

I asked to see the pit at Oklahoma Station BBQ (NW Expressway) in OKC and was asked to leave about a year ago. Go figure, guess they thought I was a spy. :lol:

Thanks for the warning, that's not too far from my humble abode, and I might have stumbled in to try it out. I really must admit that I hadn't even heard of it yet tho....
