There it is Brothers, all went well. In case you ever wonder, If I can catch it , I can cook it.:cool:

Dam that looks FANTASTIC!! I so need to make a trip home soon for some of 'mommas' cookin.

It was my momma that taught me to cook. She raised seven of us own her own. She always told us we were going to know every thing we needed too to take care of ourselves. As the rest of my brothers and sisters, I can sew too.

Are you my twin or what?? Momma raised four boys and we can all cook, knit, sew, run a sewing mechine, clean, ect. She felt the same way as yours in saying we would never have to depend on anyone to get through life.

Man I feel like calling her and my pops now. :)

I'm making a trip to Georgia this weekend to give mine a hug. The 42 pounds Of Jimmy Dean she has in her freezer has nothing to do with me going. I have to come back the next day so it is a short visit. There is a Brethren in my hometown. Thinking of sending him a pm to meet up and say hello while there.

Good lookin' groceries man!

Lookin' good, Jacob!

Damnit and I'm stuck here at work knowing that nearly all tha stuff is waiting on me at home. AND to top everything off, the cafateria here didn't serve none of that stuff.

Great food by the way. Man, I'm so jealous right now.

Jacob, a mighty fine layout there. Lots like our traditional New Years feed.
That Cracklin Cornbread almost brought a tear to my eye.

You and KY talking about your mom's teaching you to cook and all the other stuff you need to know--that did bring a tear. Sounds just like my mom, only diff is I can't go hug her anymore.

Jacob, what part of Ga you going to. I am from south Ga myself.

I'll be headed to North Ga. Dalton to be exact. Mom just got out of the Hospital, she had pneumonia and didn't call me until she was home again. She's still trying to look out for me, but I guess thats what moms do.

You should pass right by Marietta on your way up I-75. Let me know if you might want to grab a beer.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Glad she is better. Mine would have done the same thing--dont want to worry us, you know.
Have a safe trip.

Makes me homesick for those Tennessee hills...:-P Looks good bro!

man, that looks really good jacob!

can you share that cornbread recipe?

Done quite a bit of security and investigation work in your area years ago. Sadly this time were going up 20/59 then back down through Chattanooga into Ga.
My wifes pain specialist is in Marrietta. Next time I bring her in I'll Pm ahead of time. Usually takes hours with nothing for me to do.

Jacob, you did good there Brother!!!! Man, that's mighty fine looking eats...Happy New Year!!!!!!

Jacob,

Great job. I love greeens and salisbury steak. Not to sure about those blackeyed peas, though. I'd try them at least once.
