• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

You pick up 4 Filet Mignons!!!!!!

1 per month'll take me up to June. Man does that cut just look awesome not even cooked!!!

I was eyeing the Ribeye (no Pun intended) and found myself putting the F.Mignon in the cart like I was in a dream...lmao.

I would hate to tell you what they hit me for over there at Costco.....lol.

I know ya only go around once in this lifetime and I, as many, have to watch the ole Cholesterol with the whole red meat steak thing, but I had to get it just once ya know? lol

I believe this weekend will be the March devouring!

Happy grillin' and barbequeing!

Costco by me has had the filets at $9.59/lb the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, my big freezer needs a good defrosting and I don't want to fill it up before I do that first. Must do that this weekend.

Squire, what did you pay, and at which Costco. $9.59 was in the Holbrook one. I have found that prices on certain things (particularly big ticket items) do vary from location to location, with the more affluent areas having higher prices.

And here is my favorite method for these:

I was at COSTCO yesterday and got a case of spare ribs for $1.48 per LB. The individual two packs were $2.69. I have a comp this weekend, so it was a good score.

Hey, Squire--Here is some interesting info from NutritionData.

6 ounce beef tenderloin[filet mignon] has 146 mg Cholesterol, 42 grams protien

6 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast has 144 mg Cholesterol, 48 grams protien.

Which you going to enjoy most?

Hands down the filet Mignon...lol

Hey ...timzcardz I went to the Costco in Lake Grove by Houlihans. They had like 4 Filets for 30 bucks. So you figure 7 and change/ filet?

I had filet mignon like years and years and years ago! lol

I was holding the Ribeye and I just said what the hell, I'll get the Filet's.

You guys are gonna cringe but you know I like em' marinated.....Ohhhhhh I can hear the "Die hards" cringe at that suggestion. lol

2 days of my Teriyake/Balsamic vinegar and a 1/2 a teaspoon of garlic.

The best part....snows still on the driveway yet I got that grill away from the house and ready to fire up! hahhaaaaaaa. What the hell, snow'll be here tommorow.
