Kids sent me brotwurst for Christmas from G&W Sausage in St. Louis. Got them vac packed 4 to a bag. https://www.gwsausage.com/

Says on the label Fully Cooked. My question. How long should I Sous Vide them? Thinking 2 hours @130*F then light torch sear.


Any input appreciated! :thumb:
 
Not a sausage master but I have SV a decent amount of things...if they’re precooked and you’re just getting them up to temp to eat and they’re in a single stack, probably won’t even take that long.

Like most cooked sausages which also include Kielbasa, Frankfurters, Kabanosy, some Wursts, and the American hot dog, I would grill them quickly on a hot grill. The heat will help to char and bring out the natural flavors of the meat.
