• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

The brisket will be a while longer. Lol

Can anyone tell me what kind of knife this is. I borrowed it when I cooked fajitas... I love it and want one.

That is an Ulu. They are usually very inexpensive tourist items.
Some custom knife makers in Alaska make better quality ones though.

I'm really glad I didn't wait until today to cook... the weather is horrible. Blizzard like conditions (white outs, etc) not to mention the wind chill is probably like 10 or something, and I don't have a good place to get out of it. I cheated ...cardinal sin I know, but finished the brisket in the oven last night instead of tending to a fire, but it had enough smoke ring and turned out very tender..
