• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I forgot to load these last night... they were done with the pork tenderloin I did for New Year's Day.

One is plain, the other stuffed with Tillamook cheddar, nothing fancy, but both have Spicewine's new Gourmet Blend.

Good looking stuff!!!! I would take a look around, some one ate part of your Cookie when you weren't looking...

I was just doing research on the cookies... lots of research.

I brought the rest in to work, so I won't have them at home to eat!

That gourmet blend is out of this world on steaks I've gone thru three bottles since Oct. Jay did good

You are giving Rick a run for his money as the official Brethren photographer. Great looking pics.

huh? you guys really need to stop these kind of comments. i ain't an 'official' anything and it's not a contest.

curt, what kind of sausage and to what temp?

Scott, what doesn't Jay do well?

I'm not competing with Rick... I lose enough and bbq comps, I don't need to add to that! :) but I agree with Rick.. it's not a contest.

Rick, the sausage is Jungle Jim's, which I picked up just to try since I was there on Saturday. I actually rally liked it; it seems a bit finer grind than Bob Evans, which is what i usually use. I'll stick with Bob Evans, but I'll also get more JJ when I'm there next time. And I cook my fatties to 165; they carry over to about 170.

and the wood was cherry and a bit of hickory.

i thought it looked like a different sausage, thanks

and i'm addicted to all the tillamook cheeses. i was there in oregon a few years ago. what a great place! we all ordered ice cream with our billy bob teeth in. (i guess you had to be there)

But Rick, I thought those were your real teeth! :)

My wife lived in Tillamook when she was in grade school, so we often tend to have their products.. they're all pretty good, butter, cheese, etc.

I had family that lived in Tillamook, OR for years. I've been to that plant dozens of times and loved every visit. Next time you're there try the curds.
