• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

2 briskets, 1 butt, 4 slabs, sausage

What time are you serving?

I think I'm going to smoke a brisket to take to the lake for the weekend, but use that big ass grill I just got and cook burgers, brats, dogs, etc for the rest of the cal-du-sac while we swim at the neighbors pool.

The 4th is my first real day off in about 3 weeks. I haven't stopped cookin' by any means in fact I've made a few great things to take in to the boys. I'm thinking that I might just do all appetizers .... like wings, couple sausages (Plowboy's links in that Hawaiian sweet bread looked good), abt's ???, shrimp, who knows. I do know it's too hot to cook indoors.

One week after the 4th I'm helping out with a big barbecue (well, big for me), around 200 pounds total of brisket, butts and lamb. I'm doing 5 or 6 packers one day ahead and the rest will be a joint venture cooked during an all nighter. Right after sunrise when the other meats hit the cooler, 20 fatties are going on as a surprise for everyone.

The 4th will be a good day to sit out back and plan my times, make my rubs and basically goof off.

Taking my daughter to college on the 5th in Flagstaff - Lo key 4th - beer can chicken and a little Bombay Sapphire...

Lashing the pit to planks and tying it off the back porch. Damned rain! Actually had to wade out to the pit Sat afternoon. I cooked brisket and pork butt and will have left overs on the 4th (middle of the week holidays should be banned, especially ones with fireworks).

I'm doing a full Pork Shoulder and a couple of Stuffed fatties with the rest of the space filled with Garlic.

Gonna be doing two butts and one packer on the WSM -- should be interesting since I have only used the top grate to date.

Butts over brisket, turns out real nice! :icon_cool

I voted ribs and butt. Butt on tuesday night, and BB ribs wed. Whatever I do, I am sure it will be raining

I'll be cooking 2 butts & making burnt ends from a frozen point from the last packer cut brisket I cooked.

Butt, Brisket, Chx Thighs and fatties. Mmmmm...

And hopefully I won't be cooking my own azz with all the fireworks bought last night. I'm such a sucker. Those reloadable tubes are just so much fun!!!

Going to help with chicken at the Elks Lodge on a very old and large brick pit. I'm wanting to get feel of the pit, will be using oak.

Not a damned thing. I'm in BBQ recovery.

A barrel or two. Going to a shoot, and plan to enjoy the brisket and venison sausage they serve.

Wifey thinks I'm going to Six Flags with her friends that are coming into town.....so I may get cooked as well!

We're having a cul-de-sac party Wednesday and one neighbor and I are going to burn some steaks, some chicken breasts, and I’ll do racks of pork spares, some ABT’s, some armadillo eggs, and beans in the water pan. Can’t wait!

I thought I'd try out a boston butt on the propane marinated with that liquid smoke stuff I have been hearing about....

I'm joking, I wouldn't ever think of ruining food that way.....Actually I'm just grilling some brats, burgers and dogs on my new Horizon on the 4th. I do however plan on smoking a brisket and boston butt on the 7th in the BSM.

Well some calls have been made and now I'm cooking a little more than originally planed. 2 Briskets, 2 slabs of spares and 1 boston butt. My smoker will be FULL!

Gonna do my first butt as an experiment. Probably put it on the electric so I don't have to babysit it all night. I don't get the hours of temp that you guys get out of a basket full of lump.

Going to do a brisket for a friend who is moving to North Carolina and ship it to him. He has complained that no one cooks brisket up there.

Then for the in-laws traditional wiener roast. I swear one time I am goign to take a steak and cook it on a stick. Then ask everybody how their hot dog is.

I hear that...then some!

Fishsticks, tater-tots, maybe some CheeseWhiz and Ritz!

A few veggies and fruit and I am back...baby! The brothers have inspired me, I think I will go to RD tomorrow and pick up some Superior Angus Beef Ribs and do them up with some MiraclelWhip Mac salad and corn on the cob, heavy butter and salt!
