• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Been goin since 8 this morning got brisket and 6 slabs of babybacks in. Took out the 3 fatties and meat popsicles a little while ago.

Weather is beautiful, a little overcast this morning but clearing now. Warm but not to hot.

Posting some pictures. SHowing the woodpile so SnoqualmieSmoker and the other Racer81 can see I've got enough to share.

think thats more wood than u can use in 2 years.. remember, after the second season, its just heat, not flavor...... looks like ya need a few cherry wheels. :)

I have a wood stove we heat the house with too. Next year I'll have access to some more trees that were felled this year. But then again, you're basically correct there Mary, that's why I've been offering it up to the local brethren here. Maybe I'll send you one of those big chunks of alder and let you try it.

yup, i noticed that the cherry and mulberry from last summer is loosing the sweetness i smell when it preheats. Still good for heat, but gotta get some fresh stuff.

Same with my hickory. What I don't use this year needs to get just burned up. Gotta get me some more soon to cure for next year.
