• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Howdy all! I wanted to share my 3D printed solution to the problem that every Dakotah Sausage Stuffer user has. That problem is that the piston doesn't push all the way into the stuffing cap leaving you with about 1/3 pound of meat left over in the tube - this which is waaayyy too much waste! This little donut fills in that gap so the only waste left over is what's stuck in your stuffer tube. You can download the 3D file at Thingiverse for free and get a buddy with a 3D printer to print it for you! Happy sausage making! :hungry:

Very cool! Great solution! I've never used the device, but can quickly see how much this would help.

Works great! When researching the problem, I found most people are hacking up cutting boards and sanding them to fit properly. That's way too much work for me. This is much simpler!
