• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

It has been 25 consecutive days of rain. And it's that nasty, cold, run down the back of your neck rain. I couldn't stand it any more so I bought three big slabs of ribs and fired up the smoker in the carport tonight. Could I be a real Brethren? Maybe if I do a little dance around the pit it will stop raining? Heck with that. I'm staying inside where it's warm and dry. I'm only going out for short intervals to check the fire. I had to stoke it up pretty good and drape the cooking chamber with a moving blanket. I hope all turns out well. It's for a potluck I was invited to of all of the security crew at work.

Send some of that rain down to Arlin so he can Q.

Yep, and I was thinking of loading the animals in it two by two. Maybe I'll cheat some on the little piggies. Got to have extra of them just in case. Hehe

You already have parts of two piggies loaded up! Head start mod!

Stay dry, Hoo, and enjoy the ribs!

Hoo, will the Stillwater float? Besides, isn't a carport just a bbq/picnic area with another name? :-D

Send some of that rain down here. It has been months since we have had any.

Overnight some of that rain to TX when you send Arlin some. We could use it as well!

I think the Q turne out OK. It was pretty late so I just cut it up and put it in the frig for today's lunch. Managed to munch on one rib before puting it away. Mmmmm not bad. I didn't tell anyone what I was bringing to the potluck so I can't wait to se their reaction when I throw a huge tray of ribbs on the table. I think it's going to get ugly. Fortunatly they don't carry guns (security guys).

Suprising how too much can suddenly look like not enough. I could have easily gotten rid of twice the amount of meat I brought. I think I'm going to have to lock my door. I hear scratching and sniffing outside.

I get any rain (which we MIGHT today, woo-hoo!) and I'll try and blow some of it north and south.

We drove to Des Moines and back this weekend and the only burnt spots were in OK, and we saw smoke from a huge fire north of Tulsa. Welcome home.... :-\
