log splitter

Finally made a slide hammer log splitter to use with the stick burner offset . Used all free scrap steel. The full log took about 8 impacts to make the 1st split. Each split after that took 4 hammers. I split this log while sitting on a bar stool in my garage. This is a great lazy-man's tool!

Forgive me if this is not the place for this... however I couldn't really figure out where it would go. Ok... I got my hands on an old homemade log splitter that was run by a gasoline engine and hydraulic pump... both were shot... I have access to tractors around here so I was going to convert...
