Anyone still using burn barrel to make embers for direct smoking?
There are a couple of older threads on traditional method of using burn barrel to pre-burn wood splits into coals and then shoveling the embers into a smoker. But I have not seen anyone mention this method on here for awhile. Are any of you still doing this? For those of you using a burn...- charcoalwilly
