Friends I need to let you all know that I took second in a little Rib comp. I'm so proud of my win because it means that my son, Scott has taught me well.
Our new BBQ store, Fat City Grilling Supply out of Stockton Cal. put on a small comp and the 9 teams that came out to play in the cold and rain at 7:00PM on Sunday morning in front of the store where just great. We had a rib prep class put on by John Rulolph that was fantastic. Great lesson.
At last the sun came out from the clouds and at the end the sun did shine.
When it came to the last 2 places up for awards we where still in there and then our name was called:clap2:.
I know that most of you will think that this is no big deal but to walk in any comp is just a thrill. The first place went to Derrick Galiste.
I'm sorry but I took no pics. It never crossed my mind to do so. My UDS just hummed through all the rain and cold and my son built it for me. Am I lucky and proud or what. Momb
