...than the Brethren.
It's only been about 18 months since I joined. Since then, I have bought (what my wife says is) too many grills and smoker; cooked a massive amounts of food; made some great friends; and learned a TON about Q.
The Brethren have helped by critiquing my cooking and my turn-in boxes; by sharing recipes, tips, and patiently guiding me through many cooks. We even had guys from FOUR states drive to help cook for a fundraiser.
Recently, I competed in a couple of contests and did very well, but it was really a joint effort with all of you guys and gals. Without you, I would have been totally lost.
Some of you guys have gone out of your way to help - too many to name, actually. So...to you newcomers, welcome, enjoy, learn, and know that you are part of a special place with special people. Thanks to the Poobah and the Moderators for doing such a great job keeping this place going in the right direction.
