We'll most likely be there. Hays was our stomping ground for a couple of years...looking forward to revisiting to the town.

Appetizer Contest

We added an optional Appetizer Contest on Friday July 16th for the KCBS BBQ contest
 
If you can get 25 teams there (Jack Daniel's qualifier), then I'm in! How many teams do you have signed up so far?
 
Registered Teams as of May 25, 2010 include Best Butts Around, Smokers Wild and Yard Time BBQ. We are expecting alot more then 25. Hope you can make it.

I was told by the contest coordinator this morning that they are waiving the $25 late entry fee...

She also just confirmed that no matter how many teams, the payout will stay the same as advertised.
 
We welcome iQue as our 11th registered team for the 2nd Annual KCBS contest to be held in Hays July 16-17. Other registered teams include: B.R.B.Q Smokin' Crew, Best Butts Around, Bubba's Que Crew, Phat Backs Bar-B-Que, Rum & Brew BBQ, Slammin' Ham Bar-B-Que, Smoken Sprays, Smokers Wild, Woody's BBQ, and Yard Time BBQ.
 
I'm assuming that's not the IQue team from out east?

I'm considering jumping in considering the late fee has been dropped. I have to talk with the wife, but I'm leaning towards coming over from Denver.
