Default Feesh in a taco

Been reading here about fish tacos. Sounded strange to me, but had to try it. My brother is a fisherman and brought over a mess of whisker fish. I cut the fillets into inch wide strips, marinated in equal parts of chipotle mustard and milk with a dash of cayenne and a dash of Tabasco. Let that sit in the fridge for an hour or so while I fried up a batch of O rings, Walla Walla sweet ones. topped the tacos with some chipotle slaw. This didn't suck.

That is a good looking taco. I am no fan of fish eating, but, I get some ling cod or halibut and fish tacos is the way to go. I used to go get rock cod mariscos and they used some kind of Mexican style slaw that I have yet to get right.

As a Southern California native I consider myself an expert on fish tacos and those look good.

But DUDE! Those onion rings are works of art!

Looks great!

Those look great Kevin. Cats are one of my favorites. A buddy of mine just caught a 78lb cat below the Alma Dam. That would make some Taco's.

Those look awesome. I do something similar, with a chipotle cream sauce and chipotle slaw. I farken love fish tacos. On the Bobby Flay throwdown with fish tacos, the guy that beat him used fried catfish. He made them with corn tortillas, then put a toothpick in them to hold it together and deep fried the whole thing. Heart attack in the making, but looked damn good also.

That looks very tasty. I used to go Rock cod fishing and loved to make tacos out of it.
