Nice, I loves me some tamales and been thinking a smoked pork tamale has to be good.
 
Tamales are comfort food. Good for the soul.
 
Tamales in September?!? :icon_shock1: My family only does them at thanksgiving and for sure around Christmas. But, then again, there's really never a bad time for a tamale. :lol: I'm going to have to try smoking the meat this year for some of them. You're from Texas, so I trust your judgement (I'm from MI, but my family is all from Texas), so please be sure to let us know how they turn out. :biggrin:
 
Or, you could freeze up a half dozen and send each of us a pack :biggrin:
 
Tamales are one of my favorite, feel free to send a couple dozen my way!!
 
I'll send you some freezer bags if you fill them up for me.:cool:
