Default Corncakes, Sausage n Grits

I went camping last week, it was good to get away for awhile.

This is one breakfast I cooked while there.

For the corncakes, I use...
1 cup of flour
1/4 cup of cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of sugar
1 egg
About 1 cup of milk or more if needed for a thinner batter
1 cup of corn
Chopped green onion

I fry the cakes in a bit of oil...

I like them with maple syrup...

Thanks for checking out my breakfast!

You would think that I would have learned by now not to open one of your posts when I'm hungry.

But NoooOOOooo! Gotta open it.

Them grits look awfully tasty too I might add. Nice looking vittles.
