Default MG&C: June 1st deadline fast approaching!

Mainely Grillin' and Chillin' Country BBQ State Competition's (Aug 7 - 9, Eliot, Maine) regular entry deadline is fast approaching. Entries must be postmarked by this coming Monday, June 1st to avoid late entry penalty!

Please find updated MG&C Cook's Packets (which includes Paul Kirk's Pit Master's Class info!) at: http://www.celebratemainefestival.com/Cooks_Packet.html

Again, this is the ONLY Official State Competition in Maine! KCBS & NEBS sanctioned!

Thanks All!

How many teams so far Laurel? These NEBS teams are slower than I am for signing up for contests...

Are there any grilling rules? I'm trying to figure out if I want to get my butt handed to me, or if I just want to grill something for myself... Or just bring Italian beefs and not do anything... Hmmmm.... What should I do?

Why are you thinking of Italian beefs?? Taylor Lobster is just up the street!! $5.99 per pound now. Of course come August . . .

We're up to double digits - 10 teams! Check out who they are at:
http://www.celebratemainefestival.co...BBQ_Teams.html

Saturday:
-People's Choice. Turn-in 11:30 am. We'll supply the meat. Selling tickets to the public as a fundraiser for the Farm.
-Iron Chef. Reveal Secret Ingredient at 10:30am. Turn-in at 2pm. Limited to the first 25 teams. 6 VIP judges. sponsored by JPs Shellfish www.jpshellfish.com

Saturday's all about fun! I think there's time to do some "personal grilling" in there, too! CMF schedule at:
