Lang 60 Charcoal/Fuel Basket

Hey Guys,

I fired up my Lang 60 for the first time this weekend, and of course I am thinking mods, has anyone ever added a charcoal basket or is it not feasible for the Lang ??

I could NEVER get a really GREAT fire going and could not control the heat BEFORE I made a charcoal basket for my Lang!!!!! You NEED one!!!!!

I just took a single 24x24 inch peice of expanded metal, trimmed it to fit, and I put it on top of the grate that came with my lang. I can put in as much as I want, and don't have to worry about it falling off that grate...

Its a $12 option that I like a lot better than my charcoal (Klose) basket I have for my 60. I can also add wood or charcoal whenever I want, and don't have to worry about trying to move a 400 degree metal box.
