My brother works for a large fabrication shop. A few weeks ago I asked him about making me a stainless steel shelf for my LSG. He told me what I needed to measure and he created a drawing. The shop forman where he works does side work and made this awesome shelf for me. Best part was he did as a favor to my brother from a piece of scrap stainless free of charge.

LSG wants $250 for a stainless steel shelf. Thats crazy to me.
I had him make the shelf 14 inches deep which is 4 inches deeper than the factory shelf.

To say I'm pleased with it would be an understatement.

Great score:clap2: Looks sweet - Stainless sheet isn't cheap, but "drops" can be plentiful in a big fab shop... Make sure to send over a great lunch off the LSG for the boys!

Good question. I didn’t ask nor do I intend to.

I told him when I first asked about it if it could be done for under $200 just to go ahead and do it.
Was definitely not expecting it for nothing.

I sent the guy that made it a $100 visa gift card.
