Saw some decent spears in Aldi's today so I grabbed some bacon and chicken thighs to go along on the kettle.

Spears are wrapped:

Chicken is on:

I like to start the asparagus on foil directly over the coals, the spears fry a little bit in the bacon grease as it renders out:

Then over the coals to crisp it up and the thighs got an Asian Chili glaze:

Come get it! Got some ice cold Modelo's to wash it down:

Outstanding meal Bob! Everything looks delicious!
Thanks for the foil idea with the asparagus. I'll give it a try.

That's some nice color on the chicken.

Nice I really like thighs on the grill Did some yesterday on the Egg But 2 packs of boneless by mistake They turned out OK but I do prefer bone in

Thanks lady and gents! Aldi was generous with the chicken sale this week so I filled a freezer shelf full they were 79 cents a pound and these were good size thighs 10 to a pack.

Great price on those chicken thighs. I like to do the same thing, stock up!
