Cooking up some scary good beef plate short ribs I picked up at restaurant depot today on my Camp Chef SmokePro. I'm using a mix of Apple and 100% Oak pellets from Lumberjack Pellets. They're hands down the best I've used. Pics to come later! Anybody else smoking anything for Halloween?

Whole spare ribs today with Apple Pie Spice Rub, cooked with cherry wood for smoke.

We like it, I've done it many times.

For one rack of whole spareribs
2 tsp apple pie spice
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 TBSP brown sugar
3/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

We ALWAYS have spaghetti on Halloween.Looks like guts and gore! :twitch:

Thanks guys. It's so hard to find plate rib even in Texas. All I can ever get are the four bone chuck ribs at like Heb. They're good but I wanted to find plate rib, so I ended up doing the kcbs membership and going to restaurant depot the other day. They have Angus choice plate rib in cryovac, 2 racks for $6.89 a lb. Beats the $12.50 a lb central market quoted me.
