Default Quick cook on the Assassin Pellet Grill

Wife bought 10 pounds of leg quarters yesterday so today I fired up the Assassin when I got home. From start up to finished product was just over an hour and forty- five minutes. Started out at 300° then when meat temp got to 160° turned up the pit to 350° to finish it off. Seasoned with Oakridge Secret Weapon.

Nice lite smoke flavor using Lumber Jack MHC.

It was bite through but not like I like. Next time I will crank the temp when the meat temp is 150° and see how that works.

I run 400 straight thru, skin is like a potato chip, dry brine in frig uncovered a while first
