Take a breath!
After a few test fires, it was time yesterday to run some meat through the new pit!
Baby Back and St Louis Style Ribs rubbed in Booty Rub and minced Ginger:
Chicken Thighs in Jerk Seasoning:
Tri Tip rubbed with basic SPOG:
Everybody in:
Ribs done:
Chicken Thighs done:
Tri Tip came out a little more done than I wanted, but it was tender and had great flavor:
Overall I am really liking this pit, it holds gret temp across the cooking surface.
Be sure and hydrate properly during these hot months!
