When my parents moved to BC and built a log house, they had an old cook stove the put in the basement. Some of the greatest memories we have is having breakfast on the cook stove. Well mom and dad invited use over yesterday for breakfast. Nothing beats this breakfast.

My daughter so wants this stove and mom and dad said it is hers once they are done with it. It will most likely end up on our back deck so that it can continue to be used. I'll have to build an area for it to keep it protected from the elements.

I remember when younger went to a farm in Nebraska to visit some friends parents and they had one heated by corn cobs we boys brought in from the corn crib.
Pretty cool but a ton of work and the skill level to run one of these beasts was unbelievable
