Reverse-seared sirloin this evening. Overshot the edge-to-edge medium rare that I’m chasing. Getting the hang of it and this run was closer than the last. Guess there’s nothing to do but keep trying and enjoying the attempts until I get it right! Matched this evening’s attempt with shrimp, a tater mix, and remains of bread from Mancini’s in Pittsburgh.

I have made bbq for my dad numerous times. Even when everyone throws compliments at me, he always says, "you should probably keep practicing, we will let you know when you get it right". I am sure that is the same with you too!

My better half picked it today at Sam’s for $7.48/lb. Curious what y’all are paying in your neck of the woods.
