Happy Phriday, Pholks! I've got a 4 lb piece of brisket to cook tomorrow for lunch. The butcher cut it out of the center of a packer for me since he had nothing smaller than about 13 lbs during a $1.69 sale a few weeks ago. I wanted something to cook that day, and honestly I don't remember why I didn't cook it and ended up with it hitting the freezer,
Did the cooking last week for an event tomorrow. Serving pulled pork, turkey (yay Bigmista!), Keri's hog apple beans, slaw and collard greens for about 500 folks. Gonna have help from the fam and the usual SoCal farkers. Really looking forward to spending a day with my Brethren Brothers - we always have a great time and I am blessed to know these farkers.
Happy Phriday and weekend to Phu & crew and all y'all Pharkers! And CA farkers in the fire zones - stay safe!
Hi everyone first post in here, we surprisingly enough just got about 1" snow here in Houston. Should warm up slightly tomorrow though, thinking of doing a pork shoulder, and maybe some ribs or deer sausage
I am flying in 36 live Maine lobster. We are catching a bunch of crab here locally. I smoked two shoulders over night for pulled pork sliders. We are going to grill us up a bunch of oysters on the Santa Maria grill. I will share some photos on Monday.
I'm pretty sure my wallet will be smoking after this weekend... Christmas shopping is no joke. Now I'd like to get into a Corned Beef Brisket and make some killer grilled corn beef sammies!
Since the 3 inch snow will be melted and the temperature will be in the 60's on Saturday here in the Houston area, ribs and sausage will be on the LSG vertical offset.
