Did a whole brisket overnight on the ABS. Turned out good. The meat in the bag is chopped up for burnt ends. I'm going to freeze them until my wife gets back in town next weekend.

Used the Weber briquettes for the first time. I felt like they burned a little longer than the Kingsford Competition. Ash seemed pretty much the same.

Holy smoke!! Literally! That is the type of smoke ring I dream of. Great job.

That's the biggest smoke ring I've ever seen. Could it be too big? Did you do something to the meat to enhance the ring? :first:

Very nice for an inaugural brisket cook. If that gets any better, WOW!!

Nope. Just used Montreal steak seasoning, cracked black pepper, onion and garlic powder. Weber briquettes with about 6 small pecan wood chunks for about 8 hours before I wrapped it.
