Gave the old lady the last of my Wood this morning

Some of those smoked sausages taste more like the filler used than the actual meat, so I get it. I don't think I've tried Conecuh, but I will. Not much better meal when the weather cools off.

Exactly what this stuff tastes like. Filler.

You''ve never tried Conecuh ????????????

Conecuh is in a whole 'nutter level of goodness.

The stuff grills or smokes wonderfully and is often tossed on my grill with I do wings.

Delicious.

They make different versions. I love 'em all.

I haven't tried it, but my wife especially likes sausage:roll:, so I will definitely be looking for it.

I wasn't going to say anything when you posted the Lumberjack the other day because I know folks have different tastes and all. That stuff is so nasty that my two teenage garbage disposal grand children won't even eat it.

Conecuh all they way. Cajun is my favorite with the hot & spicy version in a close second.

Conecuh sausage is made in Evergreen, AL off I-65 south of Montgomery.
If you're ever passing by, they have a gift shop with some products not carried in some stores.

Oh snap, they sell Conecuh at the Super 1 in McKinney? I always thought it was just a discount grocery store. I'm definitely heading there today.

I bought a pack of that at Kroger yesterday. They had it on a closeout sale.I should have known better.Thankfully I bought some conecuh too. Thanks for the info.

Here's and update to my visit to Super 1 Foods... apparently they are a sub-division of Brookshires.

I thought I had to roll out to HEB to get these but I can save the gas money and get another pack or two.

Because Paul recommended them...

The wife likes these for some reason:

I definitely agree with the Conecuh comments, but I think the best looking thing on the original post was those caramelized onions!

"Gave the old lady the last of my Wood this morning"

You know the post always wears out before the hole...

I'll be sure to stay away from the Lumber Jack

Yeah! When I saw this title, I figured that there would be another disappointed woman on the prowl for a new man with some wood to stack.

Local Walmart finally started selling several versions, including the Hot & Spicy. Food City has the Cajun version. Best part is $2.98 # at Wally World, which is less than the factory store. $4.99 at Kroger and Food City. The store in Evergreen also has bacon!!!!

Stock up while it is that cheap. The cryo will keep the sausage good for over a year. Wally did the same thing here when Conecuh first came around. Once it took off and folks started buying it they shot the price up to $4.39. It's still cheaper than the competition around here though.

I had conecuh for the first time this weekend.....amazing. Ive never been a huge sausage guy but my kid loves it so ive tried different stuff lately. That stuff blew me away
