Default BBQ Guru Adapter Cover

Recently bought a new-to-me Humphrey's. It has a BBQ Guru adapter but so far I haven't seen a need to run any electronics as it's been holding really steady temps.

The adapter doesn't have a cover on it. I saw that BBQ Guru sells a 'kill plug' but has anyone found something I can find at the local hardware store that will cover and protect the adaptor?

Rubber plug, cork or magnet larger than the hole. It doesn't get all that warm.
