Perusing this thread yesterday before I left the office, I saw Andy's post on "Oklahoma Onion Burgers" he did on the Blackstone...Only me home for dinner and Blackstone still covered from its winter nap, so cast iron it is...Stopped on the way home and picked up a "chuck/brisket" mix already in handy 2.5 oz slider size...heated up the cast iron on the side burner of my grill....Mandoline to thin slice a vidalia...thought it was way too much onion, but WRONG, was perfect...some Carne Costa...sharp cheddar...didn't have a bun, but did NOT MISS IT!!...was knife and fork good!!....Thanks for the inspiration Andy!!
