FYI, Smithfield is running a new promotion and giving away 2 brand new Ford F-150 trucks. I thought you guys (and gals) might be interested.
Basically, there are 3 entry periods where you submit your best pork recipes in 3 different categories. They have a backyard division and a "Pitmaster Pro" division. The winner of each division for each entry period will receive and all expenses paid trip to the American Royal World Series of BBQ to throwdown in a cookoff judged by Moe Cason and Tuffy Stone. At stake is one of the aforementioned trucks.
The second truck will be awarded via a sweepstakes that you can enter daily while you are on the site voting for your favorite recipes.
I'm pretty sure a Brethren has to win this thing to keep our dignity and self-respect fully intact. Good luck to all!
