Default Day Off BBQ With Smoked Apples

I work at a church and every Halloween we have a "Harvest Fest" which we use as an outreach for the local community. We worked all week to get ready for it so the monday after I got a day off. Instead of getting some rest I did what any self respecting brethren would do...I smoked! Had a few friends come over. Cooked baby back ribs, chicken, Chuck roast and apples in the smoker. Cuban pork and chicken in the Charbroil Big Easy. It was my first cook in my new Masterbuilt Smokehouse XL. Second one I've owned. First one needs some TLC, it still works but I got this one on special and saved $80 on it so couldn't pass it up.

Pre heating small peach wood splits, yes one is in the water pan. No water.

Big Easy, Cuban marinated pork and chicken quaters

Ribs, beef and chicken

Apples with brown sugar and cinnamon

Final sauce on the ribs

Didn't get any pics after we served. Wife made mac & cheese and our friends brought home made bread. Apples were pretty awesome. Pre heating the wood has worked out really well. I gotta make these apples more often.

I left them in there for 2 hours. Came out about the same time as the leg quarters.

I've done a few cooks lately. I barely have time to post though. It took me almost 2 weeks to get this one up. I do put a lot of pics on my FB and my Instagram.

Looks like an awesome cook! Those Smoked Apples remind me of Cowgirl's Smoked Apple Dumplins!! They are the bomb and we have made them on several occasions! You should look them up.
