Bacon Biscuits n Sausage Gravy

Sorry, another camp cook!

Rolled out biscuit dough, brushed with bacon drippings and sprinkled with crisp bacon pieces...

browned the sausage for gravy...

added flour and seasonings, then milk...
I make the gravy on the thin side.

Topped the gravy with the bacon biscuits..

they took about 20 minutes...

This is one of my favorite camp breakfasts. Really easy and filling.
Again, sorry for posting so many camp cooks. I did a lot of cooking this last trip. The weather was so nice.

You were definitely in the groove on that camping trip... Most folks never get to eat like that in there lifetime.....awesome!!!!!

Jeanie, you know you are always welcome here in Lincoln, right? I have a fire pit that cooks great and a pile of wood to cook with.

Thank you Paul! It was a nice trip. Really went by too fast though.

I just checked and yes, our backyard absolutely has room for a tent and a tractor rim. Definitely.

But I think after one of your meals, my wife will have my arse out in the yard and y'all will be inside drinking all the coffee. :doh: But then again, it'd be worth it for some of that - just fantastic Jeanie!

I've seen you do this before, never gets old for sure! And I told myself the same thing I did the last time I saw it............"I have to try that!". Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorites, and I make some good ones, but I have to try your method some time :-D.

Your food looks amazing! I love campfire cooking, and oftentimes eat better camping than at home, but I've never turned out nearly the grub you do!

Not to mention I'm insanely jealous of your camping right there on the lake! Looks awesome!
