Cheap Kettle Mod
When I got my 26.75 Kettle the handle came with a heat shield ... My Ranch Kettle did Not ! 20 bucks later both handles Have heat shields ! .. My Jumbo Joe is next !

I hate the bolt on handles on the new kettle lids. I took the heat shields off since for some reason I had a habit of dragging my knuckles on them!
