Default Long Island Brethren: HELP!

Are you on Long Island? We could use some help!

This is sort of a Brethren tradition.

Every year friends and members of the Brethren create large Thanksgiving meals for families that are dealing with the ramifications breast cancer.

Every family gets a smoked turkey, 5 quarts of sides, 2 or 3 desserts, gravy, breads, appetizers and apple juice. The food is delivered by volunteers for the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. If you'd like to lend a hand, we'd love to have your support.

Each volunteer makes a lot of one thing. Some do stuffing, some do turkeys, some do peas, some do gravy, etc. The food is all brought to a central location the day before Thanksgiving, is portioned out, packed up and put into boxes for the delivery folks.

It's fun, it's rewarding and it's an amazing cause. LMK if you're interested in helping out.

If you're not able to cook but would still like to contribute, we could use apple juice, cheese and crackers and other items that could just be picked up at the store.

We also need large boxes like those you get at Costco or Restaurant Depot.

Thanks!

Eric
