I am very interested in picking up one of these PitmasterIQ 130 controllers. However, my concern is that Pitmaster has the shortest warranty in the industry of only 6 months and this concerns me. Everyone else is 1-2 years, including the imports from china on ebay. I have searched the forum, but really haven't come up with much on this.
I understand every brand will have a lemon here and there, what I want to know is do these things last past a year or are they disposable. Usually a warranty says a lot about a product. The longer the warranty, usually the better the product. I really want to hear from the people that have had good experiences with this controller. Not looking for the trolls bad mouthing the device, but actual owners stating how long they have had the device trouble free.
I am trying to make up my mind if the Stoker with the longer warranty is worth the extra $$. I know the CyberQ is just way out of my price range, but I want the Wifi connection to store temps and evaluate different setups.
